All Through The Night

Looing out through the window tonight
Neither the stars shining bright
Nor the handsome moon
Guiding me through the night

Only with the rain splattering through the window pane
And the cold wind blowing at my face
I could feel the pain
Of lonelyness

Wondering how the cold night
Could turn against me
How that feeling of 'CLOUD 9'
Was not to be

Longing & yearning for that special someone
who will one day
Hold me tight
All through the night
