My week's been pretty highly geared/motivation/busy/informative... I really don't know how I can explain... Initially, I was in my studying mode but when my sis got sick, well it pretty much bothered me... Its nothing serious but whenever my sis gets a fever due to her tonsils, well its scary cuz her fever's high... Like a 39.50 kinda high...

Now the track's playing is by Muse entittles Time is Running out... The intro's like the Pink Phanther Theme song.. That bass effect....

Had that Permanent Sectery Civil Servant Talk today...This talk that everyone in JC/CI have to attend. Topic: Uniquely Singapore... Firstly, I would have to say that the speaker was very charismatic, engaging & definately people person kind... She spoke about Singapore being 'principled pragmatic' & transparent... How practical is Singapore in dealing with situations & the ability to adapt easily to different situations... I have to agree that being a Singaporean, life's a bitch... Can't kid to that but that's the only way that we as a nation can survive... That notion to compete is in everyone of us.. We try to be better then anyone else.. I mean, can anyone see the emphasis that parents give their childrent to do well in exams. Not only to do well but to be No 1. You know, being 1st in class etc... But do they see that by trying hard to be No 1, people sometimes don't see the other side of the story...

Stop & think... We have one of THE best education system in the world but do we ever had any Noble Prize Peace winners? Is being so attached to the textbook made Singapore have THE best education system in the world? OR has it deprieved people to be creative? Honestly, how sure are you that all the students in the 1st class of RI & RGS are smart people? Or are they just people who are lucky enough to have that much of capability to remember all those information tested int the exams...So are these people genius or just dumb people who memorise textbook.

On the contrary, there's this other group of people whom, due to social & educational stigma, be named STUPID or even a DUMB... These people whom I'm referring to are the people from the ITE... Honestly, if u can't make it to the poly, try heading to an ITE.. Yes I know that the people that you meet there aren't as pleasent as the ones at those top schools but sometimes these people are INOVATIVE... And on top of that, they have the facilities to create inventions that might be beyond the wildest dreams of those in top schools....


So who's smarter? That's a question I want you guys to ponder about......

Last night Jo told me something and all I can say is that, well Jo, I told you so . I know I know, you're grining from ear to ear when you had translated the msg right.. And I told her about the whole ' better get the message the way the sender intended to'. If it was a MISCOMMUNICATION, then, OUCH!! Deep shit...

Hah! How wonderful to actually fall in love... Hum...... Love makes you walk on cloud 9... From experience, it does...... Saviour & treasure every moment of it...

Speaking of treasures, well there's this whole box of letters that I have from Darwin.... Wonder what to do with it... Throw it away? Burn it? Stash it in a deep corner so that I'll forget abt it? I mean, its a 4 yrs worth of courtship stuff....There's loads of it... And I honestly have to complement his great handwritting.... It's so very relationshipish...... And there was this song that he wrote to me... the one that has that ' I don't wana wake up from this dream' kinda thing... ARGH!!! Bloody sweet talks... Just makes it even suckier....

A friend told me that I should get on with my life & start seeing guys. Considering the fact that I've not dated anyone for about a year..... Uhm.... Not prepared... Been in too deep & it's hard to get out of it.... I know it sounds like a lame excuse but it's true... Not right now ....Still hurts & I just don't trust anyone.... They always say, the 1st cut is the deepest...

This weekend is gonna be a CIP week.. Heading to Wheelock after that... I mean, that's what Bel told me.. And I'm having this itch to get a dress.... I NEED A CHANGE!!!!!!!!!

I know, I'm the usual Tee & jeans gal but I just have gotta give myself some changes.... I know, these two current changes are drastic enough but its not enough for me........ Haiz.... Just keep it cool.... RELAX....... Breathe in out..... Chill.......

That's what I need lately..... SOME CHANGES...

I know, first was my braces, then it was my haircut... What's next? I really don't know...

On Thurs, I bumped into Faidah... She's working at Samuel & Kev, Bedok branch....Initially I didn't recognise her, cuz of her glasses... She was smiling & smiling at me... And I went like, who's this smiling at me...... You know..... I mean, this person know's you & you don't.... That feeling... Anyway, when she said, "Ur Mun's Friend".... And I went, "FAIDAH!!!" Yup.... She can't remember my name but she knew my face.... Wow!!! The last time we met was at Mun's house party.. And that was SUPER AGES AGO!!!

I remember those days that we all hung out.... It was so fun.... At Mizra's place.. With the rest of the gang... And there was Fariz's gig at Far East..... Reminancing the past. Honestly, it's these little nuances in life that makes life better....

Missing these people..... I mean, when they left school, things are different. Back then, when all of us were schooling, it would be, movies after school... Or if it was a Friday night, well its either gigs or just hanging out... But the best would be after exams... We'll be like, super bored.. And Mun would invite us to her place or something... Or not forgetting her annual b'day parties.... That's the best...

Too bad last year she didn't have it cuz of her 'A's... When it was her 18th B'day, well we all head over to her place & ordered pizzas.. And we all forgot about Freddy vegetarianism... Oh gosh! He ate beef pepperoni pizza.... And all of us & I mean, ALL, apologised to him.... I mean, there was like 10 of us & none of remembered that he's a VEGETARIAN.... And there was the stun Salid did to Mun.... And when she washed her face, she made a BIG noise.... I mean, she tried to look pretty for her B'day... With her hair all done up & all and then BAMB!! Salid 'Sabo-ed' her with the cake... Ah!! And the cake... It had alcohol... And after eating it, I had a MAJOR headache.... Took a cab home.... Oh my god! Those days......

Speaking about Salid, he came back on Monday to get his cert... HE LOST WEIGHT..... Mun, what did you do to him??? Feed him more aight?

PS: I gotta 2 for PW!! All I can say is that well done to my teammates & my classmates who'ld SLOGGERED our way in the comp lab... Us, playing pool in between breaks, watching DrumLine on the big screen & that feeling of don't wanna face the comp anymore got us either a 2 or 1 for PW...

Working offline

Right now I'm working offline cuz my dad's using the room phone... Which means I'm working offline... This gives me the opportunity to write alot...


Went to get myself a NEW hair cut. Its a cute hairstyle.... It's cute.. Wondered why I went for it? Well I needed that new look.. That fresh look.... I think I'll upload my before & after pics... I really look diff... Now I'm feeling lighter.....

And you know WHAT I got from the mail today.... 2 things... A BELATED B'DAY card from my thwee sistaz..... And a $30 Body Shop voucher....Cool huh!!! I'm loving it... LOTZ. Once again, THANKS ALOT U GALZ.... MUACKZ! MUACKZ! MUACKZ!.... The thing is right now, I'm lost... I really don't know what to buy....... Jo, help me out here... Any recommendations? Any good stuff out there? I did saw the lipgloss/balm thingy but I've already bought a new gloss.... Humm........

Had a house practice just now. Sat with Fifi yr 2 during practice.... Anyway,there was this yr 1 gal... She looks like a 'stuck-up' minah.... Geng M&M..... Anyway, she was talking to Fifi.... And it turns out that they call her Fifi too... WOW!! That yr 1 Fifi was saying that there's this girl named 'HUDA' looks like her.... Yes our hot MAMA Huda.... But Huda's Bodylicious... This yr 1 gal is so SEKEPING...... And the way she talk about Huda was like... Tak berkenan kind... My remark to Fifi yr 2 was that 'There's like 7 ppl in this world who looks alike.... So no big deal. To top it off, Huda's your senior so wipe that smirk off your face & buzz off....'

Speaking of looking alike, last Sat when I was out with Bel, I did something bad... That naughty me stuck... Ok it was like this, Bel & I was at Heeren's ladies room.. Bel went to the area at the sink to use the mirror while I used the other side, the one with the latch to put bags etc... I mean, if you gals know what I mean.. So there I was fixing my hair when this group of gals went in.. There was 3 of them. A gal from this group was DAYANA & she went into the cubicle.. So her other 2 friends told her to speed up. I just kept quiet the whole while.... Just kept cool lah... So there was her friends telling this DAYANA girl to speed up... And then, one of the girl went into the cubicle.. So there was only one of them left at that mirror area.

After fixing my hair, I went to Bel.. Whispered to her the situation & I told her that I wanna be a little naughty. So I told her that I'll leave her and she'll call me to wait for her.It went like this --->

I walked out from the room first, leaving Bel..
Bel: " Eh Dayana! Wait for me!!"
Me: " Hurry up Bel!"

And when Bel left the room, the only gal who was waiting for her friends gave that 'LOOK' to Bel... Khekhekhekhe!!! Imagine the look of that girl's face...



Anyway, I heard from Fifi yr 2 that they got SILVER for SYF Malay Dance... I think this yr alot of CCA's didn't win... I mean, last yr, we won ALOT!! SUPER ALOT.. For MCS alone, we won Sayembara Theatre(ST), Gema Puisi Akustik (GPA), SYF Malay Dance- Gold, & not forgetting the MUSIKAL....And the SYF Drama, we won best actress (our dearest Junaini Johari, SYF Indian Dance-Gold....

This year, they FLOPPED!!! For ST, heard nothing what so ever, GPA, we lost cuz lots of other schools copied our item last year, Malay dance, Silver & Indian Dance, Silver... And Drama... Well I heard that they aren't joining cuz they are going to have a musical... Thank god!!!

I have to comment something about this year's GPA, well firstly, I think the reason is that things didn't worked out well.. As usual, there was some conflicts... The ppl from the other side aren't cohesive & they don't have that team spirit in them... All of them wanna lead & no one's wanna follow.... Its their attitude.. That's their problem.... I mean, last yr, when I was in the GPA team, we worked well.. Cuz abt 80% of the members were from our side... The Bartley campus ppl.... Those days were fun & yet antagonizing.... Killers it was.... But then, we were able to reap the fruits of labour... There was our school name on that Championship Thropy... BECAUSE OF THE BARTLEY PPL!!! Except for Hafizah, Aly & Harshad....The others were us. Just us.... No one else... Oh god!!! It's all coming back to me... Those memories... And when we won. And me playing back my flute.... GOSH!!!!!!!!!!! I bet none of us could ever forget that moment....

I think I better stop with the memory lane stuff.. Gotta go... Watching Smallville on TV....

Yup there goes my sis.. bugging me to speed up.. Been using the comp from 6.30pm... Doing what u ask? Well updating new pics.. Not really new.. But some pics that I've been wanting to upload...

My day's been pretty so so... Nothing much.. just school, school, school.... What else can there be? I mean, there's nothing much I'ld do. Except the weekends... This week I'm going to Shak's place for her party... Hope I don't get lost... The condo is one place that I'm unfamiliar with....

Anyway, I've been thinking of cutting my hair.. Just wanna give it a new DARING, BOLD & NEW look... I know that when I cut my hair short, well there's gonna be the BANGS effect... Cuz my hair's kinda wavy... Bye bye those lovely locks.....

I know that the last time I cut my hair was becuz I wanted to get rid of it.. YES! That's y I cut it.... Just hated it... Then it grew... And shall I say, it's growing pretty nicely right now... But then, I just need that new look...


Anyway, my sis's breathing down my neck to speed up... So I think I'll stop here...

Well on Sat, went out with Bel... Great time shopping. Met Rahmat & Alex... Why is it so that when your in town, u'll bound to meet someone... I mean everytime....

Suprisingly, it was Rahmat who saw me... HIM? I know.... And Bel actually told me that he's cute... Hum....... With his ears sticking out....... I wonder. And I responded to Bel's remark with that look.. Bel a super hottie telling me that Rahmat's cute.... HAHAHAHA!!!... I mean, being in the same school as him for 4 yrs never made him look cute.... MY toes are laughing...


Pretty much slacked on Sunday... Followed my dad to get himself a new phone... He got the Sony Erricsson K700i... Pretty good phone but it has too many functions that my dad doesn't know how to use..... SPend the whole day playing with his phone.... Khekhekhe!!!

My mom's bugging me to start driving... I mean, I've not been driving for at least 1 mth. Due to exams & me spending most of my time with school work........ Hope I can still drive good...As in, better..... With improvements... Knowing what a clutz I really am in driving..........
